This car is fully registered, and a much-loved classic collector car maintained to a high standard. Has been serviced by Ian Steele of Just Cits. I have service records; speedo reads 132,000 miles and it has a worthy provenance.
It has won several awards, the most notable being “Best Car 1965-1990” in Centenary of Canberra Rally in 2013. First delivered to Maxim Motors in May 1974. An ex-Gayndah car in 2010, I’m the fourth owner and the co-author of the book ‘Citroen DS, The Classic Car in Australia.’ I have two other Citroens and have convinced myself to part with this grand lady.
Known as the up and down car, it has the hydra-pnuematic suspension and considered the most comfortable car of the 20th century. Has the 3 speed Borg Warner automatic gearbox and Bosch Fuel injection. Electronic Ignition has been installed in 2015 and performs well. A console has been carefully designed and installed with Huon Pine and black leather. Extra glove box and classic radio included. Upholstery is black leather, grey carpets, dark blue mats and exterior finish is a light gold in Beige Tholenet.

This beautiful Citroen Goddess was recently on show at the national Cit-in at Maryborough Queensland in May 2025 where Citroen owners from all over Australia celebrated 70 years since the first Citroen DS was revealed in Paris in 1955.
