1970 AMI 8 Estate

Car was imported from the UK a few years ago, after a THOROUGH restoration by a dedicated 2CV workshop. They have done an excellent job. The car is AS NEW !
Clearly kept in a garage all it’s life and away from the worst of English weather. There is no rust in any part of the car.
On the other hand, the lack of real sun has resulted in undamaged plastic parts – they are all “As New”.
Engine is the most powerful fitted, and with better aerodynamics than the standard 2CV, gives an excellent top speed. The much better insulation and fit-out makes for a much more refined experience, and a ride more like that of a DS than a 2CV.
A 123 electronic distributor has been fitted in December ’22 on the cars arrival in Perth. Nothing else should be done to the car. Since then, it has lived in full garaging in Denmark.

The car is being sold by Stuart Pekin for the Estate of Carl Perrin.
